Dyslexia Test
Our practice provides child psychology assessments / testing for problems often identified as dyslexia, including: reading difficulties, spelling problems, arithmetic difficulties, and other specific learning difficulties.
Child psychological testing typically involve an assessment of general intellectual ability ('IQ tests') and specific achievement tests in reading, spelling & maths.
Child dyslexia tests are all conducted by psychologists with a masters degree in Educational or Clinical Psychology.
Child psychological testing is not usually covered by Medicare but may be covered by your private health fund.
[Because our child psychology (therapy) providers are accredited specialists with Medicare you may receive a $115.05 rebate per consultation from Medicare for child therapy consultations. (This is up to 12 visits per calendar year with an approprate referral from a GP, pediatrician or psychiatrist. Some other conditions apply. See our Fees & Medicare page).]
